What Chef7 is

Chef7 is an independent SaaS product that does two related things from the same codebase: it generates recipes from the ingredients a user already has at home (powered by Google Gemini 2.5 Flash), and it runs a small or medium restaurant operation — takeaway tickets, table service, kitchen display, stock control, team shifts, customer-facing QR menus with allergen labelling, loyalty, marketing and a BI dashboard. Everything works in six languages with equal depth: Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, German and Italian.

Who builds Chef7

Chef7 is built and operated by Moisés Cordeiro, an independent developer who works as a digital nomad and is currently based in Switzerland. There is no VC, no parent company, no acquisition target. The product is sold directly to home cooks and restaurant operators through chef7.net. Billing is handled by Paddle as merchant of record, which means Chef7 itself never sees credit-card data and VAT is invoiced correctly per country.

Where the data lives

The platform runs on Supabase (Postgres + Auth + Edge Functions) hosted in the West EU region (Ireland), is delivered globally via Cloudflare Pages, and uses Google Gemini 2.5 Flash for AI inference. All personal data is processed under GDPR. Customer phone numbers attached to takeaway tickets and reservations are automatically wiped after delivery or after the table closes — Chef7 keeps the operational record but not the contact identifier.

Languages and markets

Every screen, receipt, kitchen ticket, customer-facing QR menu, email, legal document and marketing page is fully translated into PT, EN, FR, ES, DE, IT. Translations have equal depth — none is condensed. Primary markets today are Portugal, Switzerland, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium and Luxembourg, with active users also in Brazil, Angola and Mozambique.

Plans and pricing

Pricing is published openly on the pricing page. Home cook plans start at 0€ (free 30-day courtesy) and go up to 29,99€/month for the full Toque Blanche+ tier with smart pantry. Restaurant plans start at 59,99€/month for Take-Away and go up to 399,99€/month for Premium Total. All prices are +VAT (Paddle adds local VAT at checkout). Every paid plan includes a 7-day free trial without credit card, except Toque Blanche which is one-time.
